Gondia police apprehended a supplier of Marijuana from Madhya Pradesh

Gondia: On May 25th, a drug trafficking operation was intercepted from Panagav, Amgav to Saalekasa in Madhya Pradesh. The accused, Chandrabhan Jiyalal Nagpure, was found in possession of 0.815 kilograms of marijuana and a motorcycle worth 50,000 rupees. The Deputy Inspector General of Police conducted a thorough investigation into the accused’s involvement in the drug trade. Bhuvanlal Keserimal Kalbelle, aged 55, was apprehended with 2.666 kilograms of marijuana valued at 58,652 rupees. The total assets seized amount to 1,26,582 rupees.

As part of the anti-drug campaign, a drug trafficking operation was intercepted on May 25th from Panagav, Amgav to Saalekasa via the national highway in Madhya Pradesh. The local police station received information regarding the drug seizure and took action under the Narcotics Act, confiscating assets worth 50,000 rupees. In this case, the accused, Chandrabhan Jiyalal Nagpure, aged 26 from Kholgad, Saalekasa, was found in possession of 0.815 kilograms of marijuana with a value of 17,930 rupees, along with a motorcycle worth 50,000 rupees. He was arrested and a case was registered against him at the Saalekasa police station.

After filing the case, the Superintendent of Police, Gondia, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ashok Bankar, and Subdivisional Police Officer, Vijay Bhise, provided information to the Thane police about the accused’s involvement in drug trafficking. Based on this information, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Babasaheb Borse, conducted a thorough investigation into the accused’s involvement in the drug trade. Bhuvanlal Keserimal Kalbelle, aged 55, residing in Kumbhari Kala, Po. Thane Langi, Taluka – Langi, District – Balaghat (Madhya Pradesh), was apprehended with 2.666 kilograms of marijuana valued at 58,652 rupees. The total seizure included 3 kilograms 481 grams of marijuana valued at 76,582 rupees, along with a motorcycle valued at 50,000 rupees, making the total assets seized amount to 1,26,582 rupees. The accused involved in drug trafficking and the drug seizure are being thoroughly investigated.
